FLOATED THOUGHTS: RESOLUTION

You stood behind that opaque object
Trying to deter me from the subject
Yet that subject i cannot boycott
Even if it should face the circuit court
HMMM! How do i see you?
I am straining my eyes, yet i can't see
This is not a medical condition
Should i say you are not the right person?
Or time should tell
Deep inside me is a well
Which does not yield water
But keeps tattered emotions

You took it personal
Though you had no arsenal,
your words blasted my soul into pieces.
I got you ices
Just for you to shine out for me;
Anger made you reject, left me;

Sweetheart! I felt void inside me
Just because you left me
I know you were not at fault
But you should not have left me in the malt.
Thinking i would die there

Still you have my care
No, i won't trigger your anger
With that silly mistake anymore.
Happy for this Resolution.

#InTheLandOfImaginations: WHAT GOD TOOK FROM ME

Efe spun around in her room, as she looked at how beautiful she looked in her dress. She'd carefully chosen this orange circle dress just to look her best. Orange was Ebo's favourite colour and it will suit the occasion best she thought.

She paused... Something was missing... She stood still carefully scrutinizing her look, trying to figure out what was missing... She folded her arms across her chest and tapped her lips with her right index finger... "Ah haaa!" she finally let out.. She needed a necklace and she knew just which one to wear. She'd wear the one Ebo bought her on her last birthday.

She took the clothes off, took her towel and dashed into the bathroom. As she bathed she thought about Ebo, about her and about them.
They grew up together in the same neighborhood, went to the same schools even up to the University. Everyone, including her knew how a perfect match they both were for each other, but the problem was, Ebo didn't seem to see it. She'…

#EchoesOfInspiration: LOTTERY CALLED LIFE

I don't know how old you are but I know that more than half of your life has been used either for giving up, thinking about giving up, almost giving up and thinking you could never get there, you could never get to get stuff done or simply that life wasn't worth it at all

Quick reminder: you're not alone

Which one amongst us asked to be given birth to?

Reality check: none of us!

But we're here anyway, so what are we going to do? Sit down, just grow up and eventually die, or make the most out of this "unfortunate" situation called life?
I'd take the latter. You know why? Because life is like the lottery and  you have to be in it to win it as said in the movie "NAKED"

Many of us have given up on love and relationships. We don't want it anymore because someone hurt us so bad. So in order to avoid getting hurt again, we'd choose to remain single.
Do you know that means you've lost the game? That makes you the loser, that makes you a quit…

OF TEARS AND MUSCLES

They both heard the sound of the gate opening but with difficulty. Someone was coming into the house, but who?
Efe searched the couch for the remote control but couldn't find it.

"Kobby, where's the remote?"
"It's here" he replied holding it out to his mom.

She took it, lowered the volumn of the television set, got up and walked to the window, drew the curtains and looked out

"Daddy is here" she blurted out with excitement and before she could turn back to attempt to carry her two and a half year old first fruit of love to meet her darling husband, he'd already rushed to the door to meet his loving father, who had just been able to win over the struggle of opening the gate and was walking through the gate, into his house.
With a wide smile on his face, arms open wide, he came to a halt after taking a couple of steps and waited for his son to run into his arms

"That's my boy" he started to say but before he could end his stat…
