What if you woke up and realized that all the dreams you ever had aren't God's plan for your life? What if you hear God telling you to leave everything you've ever known and had behind and start afresh like He did to Abraham?
I personally don't even have the answers to the above questions, I don't even know what I'll do. And that is the problem.
But you know the funny thing? It has already happened to us several times. Many times we've had to let go off some dreams and goals we felt we needed to work towards but in the end, we realized that, that just wasn't it.
No, doubt. It's very difficult for us to embrace new beginnings because of the fear of the unknown.

Mary was a maiden who had her own plans and hopes that every maiden at her time will have. To serve God according to how she had been taught and to get married and live happily ever after but what happened? She woke up one day to realize that her's was a different life, she had been set apart for a different goal of bringing forth and nurturing a saviour. Did she embrace her new beginning? Yes she did!

Paul was a very vibrant young man who stood firmly for what he believed in. His ultimate goal was equal to Adolf Hitler's, to destroy the people he felt were enemies because they stood for different beliefs and values. He put all his energy into reaching his goal until God arrested him on his way to Damascus to accomplish one of his set targets.
On that road, a new goal was given to him and he had no choice than to embrace it.

What about Jesus's disciples? There were fishermen whose dream and goal was to fish only for fish for as long as they lived, until Jesus came and said, hey that ain't the goal, you've got to fish for men for my kingdom.
The tax collectors whose aims were to store up treasures for themselves but Jesus gave them a new goal of feeding the hungry. Amazing! Isn't it? These people embraced their new beginnings inspite of the uncertainties it came with and do you know what did the trick for them? Complete trust in the Lord!

Yes! Complete trust. We cannot embrace new beginnings without trusting in the one who has promised in Proverbs 3:5-6
       "Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
        in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight."

Enjoy the rest of your week lovely ones
